1.Unloading

After the express delivery is picked up by the courier, it will be collected by the nearby branch and sent to the nearest transfer center for unloading. Large and irregular items will be directly sent to the manual scanning area, and after scanning, they will be sent directly to the loading area through the large package assembly line; Small and medium-sized items are unloaded into the delivery hopper and then transported to the packaging area through a belt conveyor line.

2. Package scanning

The package is transported to the feeding and loading area via a conveyor belt, and is placed on the parcel supply table by the sorter with the waybill facing upwards. The camera on the table reads the waybill information and feeds it back to the sorting machine control system. The control system coordinates the trolley system and the unloading system, plans the sorting path of the package, and conveys sorting instructions. The package is then sent to the sorting trolley.
The package supply desk is the feeding port for packages, which is a device that performs volume detection, weight measurement, and waybill analysis on packages at the same time.

3.Automatic sorting

The parcel supply platform delivers the package to a small car, which will carry the package and run on the main conveyor. When it reaches the destination chute, the car's belt rotates left and right, causing the package to fall into the corresponding chute and enter the sorting large package. The main equipment in this step is the cross belt sorting machine, which is the core hardware structure of the automated sorting system. The maximum sorting efficiency can reach 80000 tickets/hour, breaking through the ceiling of manual sorting efficiency.

4.Packaging

Express packages are transported along the conveyor, and packages from different destinations are transported to different compartments and dropped into the corresponding sorted large packages. When the number/weight of packages in this large package reaches the specified range, the compartment light will light up, reminding staff to timely build and sew packages, and replace the large packages above in a timely manner. During this process, scanning with a barcode gun is required to timely transmit the package building information to the sorting system.

5.Loading

The large packages that have been loaded are placed by the staff on the belt conveyor, which automatically transports them to the loading area. The connection of different conveyors can achieve turning and transmission functions, and finally they are sent to the belt extender for loading and transportation
