Accidents are inevitable in the daily use of elevators. As an effective means to ensure the safety of passengers in the event of elevator failure, the elevator emergency device came into being. Equivalent to the car "airbag" elevator emergency device, is a kind of elevator-trapped emergency rescue equipment. Mainly used in the elevator operation process, when the AC power supply suddenly blackout or the electronic control system fails and make the car stop in the shaft, automatic conversion, cuts off the original electronic control system. It supplies AC power to the elevator and opens the door after trailing the car to the level position so that the trapped passengers can get out of danger in time.
1. Electromagnetic signal sensor
Set up in the shaft car upper beam, as well as located in the shaft leveling position of the electromagnetic signal transmitter and located in the car upper beam of the electromagnetic signal inductor. An electromagnetic signal transmitter and electromagnetic signal inductor is a complete set of devices that need to be used, that is, through the electrical generation of magnetic, magnetic generation of the principle of electricity to achieve the elevator level induction.
Electromagnetic signal transmitters can choose to use a flat magnetic stripe, in each flat position are equipped with a flat magnetic stripe; Electromagnetic signal sensors can choose to use Hall sensors. Hall voltage changes with the magnetic field strength, the stronger the magnetic field, the higher the voltage, the weaker the magnetic field, the lower the voltage, Hall voltage value is very small, usually only a few millivolts, but amplified by the amplifier in the integrated circuit, you can make the voltage amplified enough to output a stronger signal. Flat magnetic strips are located on the side of the shaft elevator guide rail opposite the Hall sensor. Flat magnetic strips take up little space and are simple to install, and the distance sensed using a flat magnetic strip is increased.
Hall sensors are located at both ends of the upper beam, the Hall sensors close to the magnetic stripe of the level are fixed with a large Hall sensor bracket, and the Hall sensors away from the magnetic stripe of the level are fixed with a small Hall sensor bracket. The operation principle of elevator leveling sensing device: when the elevator runs to the door opening area, the energized Hall sensor passes through the magnetic field of the leveling magnetic stripe, the Hall sensor generates Hall voltage, and the generated voltage signal is transmitted to the elevator's drive controller, and the elevator starts to automatically decelerate the leveling. The speed and time of leveling can be set in advance by the controller panel.

2. Photoelectric sensors
The photoelectric sensor consists of a transmitter, a receiver, and a detection circuit. The transmitter is aimed at the receiver to launch the beam, when the receiver receives the beam, the detection circuit makes the inductor in the conversion contact disconnect; when the beam launched by the transmitter is blocked, the receiver can not receive the beam, the detection circuit makes the inductor in the conversion contact closure, to the microcomputer controller input a signal.
The photoelectric sensor used on the elevator is usually a standard U-shaped structure, the transmitter and receiver are located on both sides of the U-shaped slot, when the light is blocked by the light shielding plate through the U-shaped slot to block the light beam, the photoelectric switch produces a switching signal input to the microcomputer controller. The photoelectric sensor works more reliably than the permanent magnet sensor and is more suitable for high-speed elevators.
