The laser sensor can be divided into 4 types according to the working substance.
1. Solid-state laser: Its working material is solid. The laser sensor manufacturer tells you that there are commonly used ruby lasers, neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet lasers (ie YAG lasers) and neodymium glass lasers. Their structure is roughly the same, and they are characterized by small but strong and high power. 2. Gas laser: Its working substance is gas. There are various lasers for gas atoms, ions, metal vapors, and gas molecules. Commonly used carbon dioxide lasers, helium-neon lasers and carbon monoxide lasers are shaped like ordinary discharge tubes. 4. Semiconductor laser: It is a relatively young laser, and the more mature one is gallium arsenide laser. However, the output power is small, the directivity is poor, and it is greatly affected by the ambient temperature.
