The laser driven shaft recognizer is a non-contact fixed recognition system developed by Jietai High Tech. Its working principle is based on TOF laser ranging, consisting of two LiDARs and algorithm control modules in both horizontal and vertical directions, which can perform stereo scanning of vehicles. Not only can it identify the number of axles, single and double tires, but it can also accurately identify the driving axle parameters. It can replace gratings, laser vehicle detectors, and coils to achieve functions such as vehicle separation and task triggering.

Drive shaft recognition is mainly a scheme developed for identifying the load capacity of 6-axle single drive and 6-cycle dual drive vehicles. A 6-axle rear dual drive truck can carry a load of 49 tons when driving normally on the road, and a rear single drive truck can carry a load of 46 tons when driving on the road, Motor vehicles should meet the approved load capacity and overloading is strictly prohibited.
