Automatic door sensor refers to a type of device that can detect objects in front of a door and drive the door to automatically open or close. The automatic door sensor mainly senses the presence of people or objects through the sensor and transmits the signal to the door controller. The door controller controls the opening and closing of the door by the motor based on the signal. The automatic door sensor can achieve contactless entry and exit, greatly facilitating people's travel and entry. The common automatic door sensors mainly include infrared sensors, ultrasonic sensors, microwave radar sensors, laser sensors, loop detector sensor .etc. 

1. Infrared sensors

    The infrared sensor emits infrared light, When someone or an object enters the detection area and is reflected by the infrared light, it can determine whether there is an object present before going out, thereby driving the door to open or close.

2. Ultrasonic sensors

    Ultrasonic sensors emit a certain frequency of sound waves. When the sound waves encounter an object in front of the door and reflect back, they can determine whether there is an object present before going out, and then open or close the door

3. Microwave radar sensor

When the microwave radar sensor is working, it will send a microwave signal to the front of the door. When an object enters the detection area, it will sense the microwave echo brought by the object and determine whether there is an object in front of the door based on the echo intensity, thus achieving automatic opening or closing of the door.

4. Laser sensor

    The laser beam sensor will emit a beam of laser towards the door. When the laser encounters an object in front of the door and reflects back, it can determine whether there is an object present before leaving the door, thereby activating the automatic opening or closing of the door.

5. Loop detector sensor

The inductive coil loop detector sensor is a sensor that lays the coil below the door. When an object approaches, it will generate magnetic field disturbance, which causes a current signal to be sensed in the coil circuit and drives the door to open or close, the loop detector sensors are mainly used to detector vehicle while not pedestrians.
