    The light curtain of the package supply platform is a key equipment in the automated sorting system of express delivery. The light curtain commonly used in express delivery delivery stations is the measurement light curtain. Its core function is to measure the external dimensions of objects and locate them through the light curtain system, which is used for volume detection and position recognition of packages.

        Volume detection: Measure the length, width, and height of packages through a light curtain to assist in sorting path planning.  
        The transmitter and receiver form a parallel light curtain system. When an object passes through and partially blocks infrared light, the system identifies the blocked light through synchronous     scanning and outputs a signal to measure the external dimensions of the object.

       Position recognition (Alignment) : Ensure accurate package alignment to avoid sorting errors caused by offset

        By using an infrared measurement type light curtain to detect the edge position of the package, a signal is generated to drive the correction device to adjust the package position and center it after comparing it with the set value.
