    The implementation of logistics automation relies on the automation of various machinery and transportation equipment, as well as the application of computer systems and comprehensive operation coordination technology. Through the integration of these technologies and equipment, logistics operations such as transportation, loading and unloading, packaging, sorting, identification, etc. can be automated, thereby improving the management and monitoring level of the logistics system, making related operations and content labor-saving, efficient, and rational. The application of mechatronics technology in logistics automation includes automatic identification systems, automatic detection systems, automatic sorting systems, automatic access systems, automatic tracking systems, etc. The automation of these systems not only facilitates real-time collection and tracking of logistics information, but also improves the efficiency and reliability of the entire logistics system.

    There are various types of sensors used in logistics automation, including temperature and humidity sensors, gas sensors, light sensors, sound sensors, motion sensors, access control sensors, photoelectric sensors, weight sensors, LiDAR sensors, ultrasonic sensors, distance sensors, etc. These sensors play a crucial role in logistics automation, from environmental monitoring to cargo safety, to precise navigation and obstacle avoidance, every function relies on the support of these sensors.

Environmental monitoring sensors:
· Temperature and humidity sensor: used to monitor the temperature and humidity inside the warehouse in real time, preventing damage to goods due to environmental issues.
· Gas sensor: monitors the concentration of gases such as carbon dioxide and oxygen in the warehouse to ensure the safety of the working environment.
· Light sensor: monitors the intensity of light inside the warehouse, automatically controls the brightness of the lights according to changes in light, and achieves energy conservation.
· Sound sensor: Monitor the noise level inside the warehouse to avoid negative impacts on employee health caused by noise.
· Motion sensor: monitors the status of goods transportation, such as whether the shelves are moving, whether the goods are tilted, etc., to ensure the safe and stable transportation of goods. Safety and navigation sensors:

· Optoelectronic sensors: used in automated logistics systems for AGV in place detection and obstacle avoidance to ensure safe driving.
· Weight sensor: monitors the entry and exit of goods, ensures accurate data, and optimizes inventory management.
· Lidar sensors and ultrasonic sensors: In AGV, AMR and other automatic handling equipment, lidar sensors (such as G-TEK LMO Series laser lidar) enable the equipment to perceive surrounding objects, obstacles, landmarks and other key information, achieving safe navigation, obstacle avoidance and positioning.
· Distance sensor: used to accurately measure the distance between objects, providing precise data support for automated logistics. Such as G-TEK SFL Series laser distance sensor with sensing distance 100m, or DL50 distance sensor with 5m detection distance.
