G-TEK LVD-32R-B series LiDAr sensor is 32-line mechanical lidar and has 360° horizontal field of view and 90°vertical field of view. Designed for close-range low blind zone applications. Comprehensive 3D perception for ultimate safety protection. Detection range 30m@10% to max 120m@reflectivity 70%.

 

 

G-TEK LVD-32R-B series LiDAR sensor is 32-line mechanical lidar and has 360° horizontal field of view and 90°vertical field of view. Designed for close-range low blind zone applications. Comprehensive 3D perception for ultimate safety protection. Detection range 30m@10% to max 120m@reflectivity 70%. High accuracy detection with range accuracy
±1cm and resolution 0.09°(H)×2.61°(V). Data points generated 640,000 pts/sec  for single echo and 1,280,000 pts/sec for dual echo.

 

 

3D mechanical LiDAR with a vertical field of view (FOV) of 90° and horizontal field of view 360° has a wide range of applications in multiple fields, mainly including the following aspects:

 

Intelligent driving blind spot filling: In the intelligent driving system, the 3D LiDAR with a FOV 90 degrees can better balance the blind spots where the vehicle is close to the ground and the upward field of view. This design can not only avoid collisions between the wheels and obstacles near the vehicle body, but also detect the full view of the object at a closer distance, with stronger perception of the type and orientation of nearby targets. This helps achieve true ‘zero blind spot’ perception in complex driving scenarios such as city roads and highways.

 

Close range blind correction: G-TEK LVD-32R-B LiDAR has the advantages of small size, high reliability, and long service life. This type of LiDAR is usually used for close range blind correction, which can provide accurate lateral perception capability in complex driving scenarios, help vehicles maintain a safe distance between adjacent lanes, and avoid collision accidents.

 

City road perception: In city roads, especially when turning at congested intersections, LiDAR with a vertical field of view of 90° can enhance the perception ability of vehicles on the side and rear, accurately perceive surrounding objects, especially pedestrians and other vulnerable road users (VRUs), thereby ensuring the safety and smoothness of the autonomous driving process.
