The development of technology has promoted the intelligence of access control management, and the speed gate is an important component of modern entrance and exit control systems. The speed gate adopts sensor technology to ensure traffic safety while greatly improving traffic efficiency which is the best choice for public places such as office buildings, schools, scenic spots, subway stations, airports, etc. 

 

The safety anti-pinch detection area is composed of four pairs of infrared sensors, used to detect the status of people or objects in the passage channel and the active area of the door wing. Due to the fact that the activity area of the passage gate wing is considered a hazardous area, without precise safety detection equipment and gate wing safety driving mechanism, the equipment itself may pose a threat to the personal safety and material safety of personnel or objects passing through the passage. 


 

(1) Solutions:
The use of infrared #lightcurtain in subway #AFC (Automatic Fare Collection System) gates is very common. Compared with simple infrared #photosensor , AFC light curtains have significantly improved detection accuracy, anti-interference ability, and system linkage. The LSED series infrared grating is a specially designed infrared #curtainsensor for #turnstiles. It has cascading function and can be used in multiple sets without crosstalk. Through multi beam infrared scanning and real-time signal analysis, it can achieve precise monitoring of the passage area, detect obstacles (such as human bodies, luggage, etc.) in the passenger passage area, prevent tailgating, forced entry or illegal detention, and ensure safe and orderly passage. LSE infrared barrier sensor or light curtain safety beams can effectively detect the status of the active area of the channel door wing. When a person or object is detected to be stuck in the channel, the quick pass door device will activate an alarm while keeping the door wing open to protect personnel from being caught by the door wing.

(2) Solutions:
In the tracking detection area, more than 8 pairs of infrared photocell  sensors are installed providing better protection against following and trailing. Multiple pairs of infrared sensors detect the position and movement process of a person during passage and can effectively detect the movement and position of personnel tracking their passage and provide appropriate feedback to the control system. At such detection area the slim type light screen sensor are often a good choice to simplify the installation of multiple sensors.
