Typical Application of Safety Light Curtain in Automotive Production Line
The safety light curtain is a key equipment to ensure production safety at the automobile production line . It uses infrared beam detection mechanism to prevent personnel from accidentally touching or entering dangerous areas and is widely used in high-risk processes such as stamping, welding, and assembly.

1.Technical principles and core functions of safety light curtains
The safety light curtain consists of a transmitting end (emitting infrared beam) and a receiving end (receiving beam), forming an infrared light curtain. When personnel or objects obstruct the light beam, the light curtain immediately outputs a signal, triggering equipment shutdown or alarm.
The product adopts redundant circuits and multiple verifications to ensure fast response in case of beam interruption (response time is usually<20ms), avoiding wrong operation or missed output.
2. Typical Application of Safety Light Curtain in Automotive Production Line
Stamping workshop: Safety gratings are applied around the stamping machine workbench and mold replacement area to prevent operators from inserting their hands into the mold during the stamping process or accidentally touching the equipment start button during mold replacement.

Welding and spraying station: Safety gratings are applied to the periphery of robot welding units or at the entrance of automatic spraying cabins to prevent personnel from approaching high-temperature welding guns or splashing areas; Set up isolation at the entrance of the spray booth to prevent personnel from entering to cause harm from the harmful gas.

General assembly and component assembly line: Safety light curtains are applied to the chassis assembly station, door installation robot operation area, and conveyor line entrances and exits to detect whether personnel accidentally touch moving parts such as lifting platforms and conveyor belts during the assembly process, protecting personnel safety; Control the start and stop of the material conveyor line to avoid material accumulation or personnel injury.
