AGV automatic obstacle avoidance refers to the process in which an AGV car, based on the collected status information of obstacles, detects static and dynamic objects that hinder its passage through sensors during automatic driving, stops effectively avoiding obstacles according to certain methods, and finally reaches the destination point. In the field of AGV applications, LiDAR is mainly divided into two types based on its functions: obstacle avoidance and navigation.


(1) AGV obstacle avoidance:
Solutions:
At present, industrial AGV / AMR obstacle avoidance is mainly based on single line lidar. Compared with multi line lidar, single line lidar responds faster in angular frequency and sensitivity, and is very accurate in testing the distance and accuracy of surrounding obstacles.

(2) AGV navigation:
Solutions:
