Intelligent sterecoscopic warehouse

Sensor solutions for intelligent sterecoscopic warehouse

Automated three-dimensional warehouse is a new concept that has emerged in logistics warehousing. The use of stereo warehouse equipment can achieve high-level rationalization, automated access, and simplified operation of the warehouse; Automated stereo warehouses are currently a form of advanced technology. The main body of an automated warehouse consists of shelves, roadway type stacking cranes, entry (exit) workbenches, and automatic transportation (exit) and operation control systems. Storage shelves are an important component of modern logistics warehousing systems, which can effectively utilize warehouse space and improve storage efficiency.

In the factory working environment, it is very important to install photoelectric sensor protection devices in order to protect people, vehicles and door bodies from injury and damage. Retro-reflective photoelectric sensors is easy to install, strong light resistance performance, is the most commonly used industrial door safety protection device; In addition by the site application environment and the door body width, the impact of the opposite photoelectric sensor is also a more common choice; infrared grating products can achieve multi-point protection, greatly enhance the scope of protection, in the industrial door safety protection in the application of more and more popular.

(1) Shelf occupancy detection:
Solutions:
By installing the through-beam PF21T (or mirror reflective PF21R) at the entrance of the shelf, if the goods are misaligned, they will block the beam and trigger the photoelectric output response. Install a through-beam PF21T (or mirror reflective PF21R) inside the shelf to detect the presence of goods. If the goods are present, the beam of light is obstructed, triggering the photoelectric output response.

(2)Monitoring of protruding goods on shelves:
Solutions:
Goods stored on shelves may protrude from the shelves due to abnormal conditions. The prominent goods thus become obstacles to the vertical movement of the stacker truck, which may cause damage to the shelves or stacker truck.

Solutions:
Long distance through beam type photoelectric sensor or LMO series LiDAR can be used to detect the position and status of shelves and goods in real-time, as well as detect whether any items have fallen, ensuring a safe operating environment.
