The loop detector is used to measure the loop resistance and leakage current of the lightning protection device to determine whether the connection of the lightning protection device is reliable and to troubleshoot the fault. When measuring the resistance of the loop, there is no need to disconnect the wiring of the loop, just clamp the circuit with a clamp meter to measure the resistance of the loop.
