PMK50 series slot photoelectric sensor is U shaped sensor with enclosure size 72x50x20mm (thickness 20mm) and max. detection distance 30mm. The working principle of U-shaped photoelectric sensors is to install transmitters and receivers on both sides of the U-shaped groove, forming a unified optical beam. When the detected object passes through the U-shaped groove, the optical beam will be cut off, and the photoelectric switch will react and output a switch signal. The main reasons why U-shaped optical sensors are widely used includes their working principle, application environment, and advantages in automation and industrial control.
